• Linear thinking - Mindset: to be specific (cụ thể hóa vấn đề/topic) - tùy thuộc vào đề bài cụ thể mà chọn cách specify hợp lý để phát triển ý tưởng.

→Benefit: khi vấn đề được cụ thể hóa --> nghĩ ra được nhiều ý, ý cụ thể hơn, và sẽ dễ phát triển hơn!

• Specify the Noun(s) by:

• Add adj.

• Give examples.

• Specify the Verb: specify the actions (or the purposes).

• Specify the process: phân tích process để tìm ra ý tưởng trong process.

 

Example 1:  Specify Noun 一Add adj/ give examples

Chọn phân tích videogames là topic chính để phân tích, tìm ý tưởng và phát triển ideas cho bài viết: 

• Tìm ra lợi ích của video games → specify⟶ thêm adj/examples N

(1) intellectually /ɪn.təlˈek.tʃu.ə.li/ simulating games or metally-simulating games  → develop/strengthen cognitive skills/ boot thingking capabilit, such as analytical thinking/critical thinking.

(2) Multiplayer games → enhance/promote cooperation

(3) Games that incorporate physical activities → encourage/ inspire/motivate children to lead an active lifestyle.

Example 2:   Specify Noun 一Add adj/ give examples

Đề bài yêu cầu discuss 2 quan điểm về new technology và free education  ⟶ specify 2 Nouns

(1) New technology ⟶ add adj or give example related to this Noun

(2) Free education ⟶ add adj or give example related to this Noun : chia ra higher education và vocational education.

Example 3:  specific the Verbs by giving/specifying the actions and purposes of the actions/Verbs

Đề bài yêu cầu discuss về take a gap year ⟶ specify the Verb (take a gap year) to do something/ purposes of this action.

Example 4:  specific the Verbs by giving/specifying the actions and purposes of the actions/Verbs

Đề bài yêu cầu discuss về using computers and mobile phones gây ảnh hưởng tới writing and reading skills → specify the Verb (using computers and mobile phones) bằng cách đưa ra purposes cụ thể của việc dùng chúng để làm gì → tác động đến riting and reading skills

( gồm cả advantages and disadvantages)

Example 5:  specific the Process by writing down in detail all steps of the process  → get ideas to discuss from these steps.

Đề bài yêu cầu discuss ads and disads của shopping online → ghi ra quy trình cụ thể từng bước của shopping online → ở mỗi bước nghĩ đến ad and disad của chúng 

Example 6:  specific the Process by writing down in detail all steps of the process  → get ideas to discuss from these steps.

Ở đây chúng ta cần discuss về ads và disads của alternative resources of energy → đưa ra 1 loại cụ thể (solar power) → specify this Noun by giving process of installing a solar power system  → nghĩ đến ad và disads của mỗi bước.

Example 7:
